Why become an ACC/PCC coach?

  • Confirmation of professionalism: ICF qualification demonstrates to clients that a coach adheres to high standards of professionalism and ethics in their work.

  • Increasing client trust: Clients and employers are increasingly looking for certified coaches to ensure their quality and competence. Is there a difference between completing a program and having a certificate or having ACC/PCC qualifications? There is a difference!

  • Skill development: The certification process includes training, practice, and assessment, which helps the coach improve their skills and knowledge.

  • Increasing income: ICF certification can increase a coach's attractiveness in the market and allow them to set higher prices for their services.

How does the CKA test work and what do you need to prepare for?

The Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA) exam procedure at the International Coaching Federation (ICF) includes several steps:

Registration: The candidate registers on the ICF website and selects a date and time for the exam.

Preparation: The candidate prepares for the exam by studying the materials provided by ICF and practicing solving test tasks. We help prepare at this stage to avoid retakes.

Taking the exam: The test is comprised of approximately 81 scenario-based items that will test the candidate's knowledge of the ICF Core Competencies and how to apply them in realistic coaching scenarios. Video monitoring is conducted to observe how you take the exam (i.e., in the presence of a proctor).

Assessment: The exam results are evaluated by ICF. The candidate receives feedback on their performance. The exam is considered passed if 70% of the answers are correct.

Certificate issuance: In case of successful exam completion, the candidate is assigned the corresponding qualification level and is issued an ICF-Credential badge (ACC, PCC, MCC).
